Chick-fil-A Inc. has started an online giveaway to promote the launch of a new spicy version of its famous chicken sandwich. Through www.chick-fil-a.com, you can make free reservation for a FREE spicy chicken sandwich. Until June 7, Spicy Chicken Sandwich will not be added in the menu list.

New Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken Sandwich is hand-breaded, seasoned with a blend of peppers and served on a toasted buttered bun with dill pickle chips. The starting cost of the Spicy Chicken Sandwich is $2.99 and is also given in a "deluxe" version including lettuce, tomato and Pepper Jack cheese for $3.59. It is considered as a chain's first new sandwich since its Char grilled Chicken Sandwich was introduced in 1989. In 2009, Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A had more than $3.2 billion in sales. To try out the new menu item, Frank McAuley and his wife, Evelyn, had come to the Okeechobee and turnpike location during lunch. After taking a bite of his sandwich, Maverick Marshall of Greenacres declared, “It’s excellent”, “I like the spicy. It’s got a nice kick, the kind where there’s a memory of the burn in your mouth after you eat it.” Chick-fil-A spokesman, Mark Baldwin said, “This is a market we’re trying to expand in”, “We’re really trying to grow our brand in South Florida, and, based on demographics, this area probably likes spicy food.”

The sweepstakes was started at 12:00:01 AM EST on May 21, 2010 and will be ended at 9:00:00 PM EST on June 5, 2010 (“Giveaway Period”). No purchase or payment of kind is necessary to participate in the sweepstakes. This sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (“D.C.”) who live in the United States or D.C. The participant must be above 13 years as of May 21, 2010. The limit of this sweepstakes is one entry per person or e-mail address, despite restaurant location.
For Free spicy chicken sandwich reservation, you have to enter city or state or zip code then click on ‘search’ button. You will receive list of branches with remaining reservations. You can choose one of them. On a first-come, first-served basis, minimum one hundred reservations are available per participating location per day.
