New Chevrolet Aveo in India : Specifications & Price Review

This new Aveo will be shown in Paris, but is coming to the U.S. next year. It will be made in NAFTA land, Canada or Mexico but no longer be made in South Korea for the U.S. market. The new Aveo is designed considering younger customers with its sporty hot-hatch look.

New Chevrolet Aveo has instruments inspired by motorcycles, a wrap-around fascia and blue backlighting for the centre console. USB and Bluetooth connectivity will both be standard. Digital speedometer and analog tachometer are combined. Chevrolet said that this comfortable and responsive car has been tuned specifically for European customers. Four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines will be accessible in Europe.

The Aveo is longer and wider than the car it replaces even though no interior pictures have been unconfined yet. At the front, it obtains twin headlamps and Chevrolet’s split front grille like the Cruze and the Beat, although the concept’s fog light design doesn’t carry over. Features of New Chevrolet Aveo include rear handles being hidden in the C-pillars like the Beat and its rising shoulder line, along with a sharply creased bonnet.

Specifications of New Chevrolet Aveo

It has a 1.3 diesel unit with stop-start will be available with either 74bhp or 94bhp. Petrol engines include an 85bhp 1.2 and a 99bhp 1.4. Six-speed automatic transmission as an option on the 1.4 petrol engines and manual options contain five- or six-speed depending on engine choice introduced by Chevrolet. The new Aveo will compete with the likes of Volkswagen Polo, Honda Jazz and i20 amongst others in India.
