The 50 year old famous TV pitchman Billy Mays has died at 7:45am on June 28, in his home at Tampa, Florida. It was not clear right now how he died. According to reported bump all are assume as he was hit on the US Airways flight from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Tampa on Saturday and it had a hard landing at Tampa International Airport when the plane’s front tire blew out.
US Airways spokesperson Jim Olson said, that none of the 138 passengers and five crew members were injured in the incident, but several passengers reported having bumps and bruises, according to the station. Mays reportedly hit his head during the flight and told his wife that he wasn’t feeling well and he went to bed early, shortly after 10pm. The local medical examiner will perform an autopsy to establish the cause of Mays' death.
The police spokeswoman Laura McElroy said "Mays' family members didn't report any health issues with the pitchman but said he was due to have hip replacement surgery in the coming weeks."
Billy is best known for his loud carny ads for OxyClean, a product of Orange Glo International. He later took on other brands for the company including Orange Glow and Kaboom. Mays was also featured on the hit reality TV show "Pitchmen" on the Discovery Channel, which follows Mays and Anthony Sullivan in their marketing jobs.
I think most people would agree that this been a remarkably strange week for celebrity deaths. Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and then Billy May.
