The World Expo 2010 is one of the most awaited event of the world. The official website of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai China is www.expo2010china.com which is managed by the Bureau of the Shanghai World Expo Coordination. For the 2010 World Expo, the Chinese government officially decided that Shanghai would bid on 18th November, 1999. On July 13, 2008, the French version was also launched. The Website is the resource of authoritative, correct and timely information which are related to the development of Expo 2010. Pavilion means large tent or covered area which is usually used for entertainment, relaxation and pleasure. A freestanding structure may be referred as pavilion, which is sited a short distance from a main residence. It is become an object of pleasure by architecture.
The World Expo 2010 has four versions i.e. Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English and Japanese which acts as an information centre and a working platform. At the 132nd General Assembly of the International Exhibitions Bureau Shanghai won the bid on December 3, 2002 with the support from home and abroad. The pavilion of the 2010 World Expo is divided into five zones i.e. A, B, C, D, and E. Detailed information about ten pavilions of the 2010 World Expo are given below:
United Kingdom Pavilion:
In the United Kingdom, the first World Expo is known as the Great Exhibition and situated in the Crystal Palace at Hyde Park. Before firing half a century ago, it was considered one of the most beautiful structures in the world because of royal metal-and-glass construction was not only home to the extravaganza display of products from all over the world, but was also the iconic symbol of the world fair. Now, a new version of the Crystal Palace was brought by the United Kingdom which is a dazzling cube formed by over 60,000 slim and transparent acrylic rods containing seeds of different plants that were collected in a bio-diversity project.
The theme of the pavilion is "Building on the Past, Shaping our future" and the area is around 6,000 square meters. The UK pavilion is also known as the "Seed Cathedral" and it is designed like a wrapping paper, it seems that wrappers have fallen open to disclose a sparkling jewel of life. In 2000, the Royal Botanic Gardens has launched an international conservation project to raise alertness for the Millennium Seed Bank Project.

United Nations Pavilion
United Nations Pavilion is one of the largest Pavilions of the World Expo 2010. This pavilion includes World Health Organization, UN trade and development group of encirclement Capital Development Fund , the World Trade Organization, the World Tourism Organization, the World Bank, International Atomic Energy Agency, International Maritime Organization, the United Nations, the United Nations Population Fund, UN-HABITAT, UNICEF, etc. UN is a large and authoritative organization which gets success in fields of sustainable development, climate change, and urban management, among others with the help of its various organizations.

Canada Pavilion
The Canada Pavilion is designed like the letter "C" or a looped ribbon. People can enter through an open-air public square which is the pavilion's centre piece. The theme of the Canada Pavilion is "The Living City: Inclusive, Sustainable, and Creative" and the area of the pavilion is around 6,000 Square Meters. The pavilion is the hub of a wide array of special events and activities.

Argentina Pavilion
The earlier exhibiting pictures, traditional craft of the past 200 years in a multimedia way of the Argentine pavilion is divided into two parts i.e. indoor and outdoor parts. There is also an open green space for leisure for the visitors. Multiculturalism, sustainable development of cities, and protection of historical heritages, technological innovation and environmental conservation are followed by Argentine. With the development of its cities, Argentina improves the living condition of their people.

Malaysia:
This pavilion is made by two streamlined high slopes with a cross on top and the symbol of the Malaysian architecture. Recyclable materials of palm oil and plastic are used to make the frontage of the pavilion. In the expression of a unique style and national spirit of union, Pavilion design is inspired from the traditional Malaysian hut. Pavilion also exhibits Electronics, rubber and timber products. World heritages of Penang and Malacca are encountered by Visitors.

Singapore Pavilion
The theme of the Singapore pavilion is "Urban Symphony" which is enthused by the harmony of unique elements in Singapore i.e. progress and sustainability, urbanization and greenery, tradition and modernity and a cosmopolitan mix of residents of different races living peacefully together. It is a two-story structure that looks a music-box. The pavilion includes music fountains, interplay of sounds and visuals, and roof garden flora, with the country's unique rhythm and melody which creates rock band of elements into its design.

African Union Pavilion
‘The Great Benefits of Clean Energy on Africa’s Urban Management’ is the theme of the African Union Pavilion. Enormous African primitive sculpture with words are written at the entrance of the pavilion that reacts towards a glimmering globe, symbolizing the important role Africa plays in environmental protection and coordination of world affairs. Visitors know about progress of African countries, urban transformation, economic rise and cultural carrying-on in Africa by entering the pavilion and walking along the curving corridor. In the management and development of cities, the key role clean energy has been played by exhibition in order to address the challenges posed by global climate deterioration. This exhibition shows all kinds of service programs like transportation, buildings and facilities, schools, etc. which helps to improve the lifestyle of the people.

Australia Pavilion
Australia Pavilion is made up of sculptured curving walls and a red ochre exterior. The world-famous Ayer's Rock inspires the Australia Pavilion's appearance. Australia Pavilion's red frontage is made from special kind of steel. As per the temperature and humidity of Shanghai, the colour of the Australia Pavilion will be changed. The pavilion includes every aspect of Australian life which is divided into three distinct but inter-related sections labeled "Journey," "Discover" and "Enjoy."

The pavilion displays India's rich cultural heritage, its diversity of faith, culture and language, traditional and modern technological development and urban-rural interface.

Kyrgyzstan Pavilion
‘Bishkek - the City Open to the World’ is the theme of the Kyrgyzstan Pavilion. It symbolizes the harmonious coexistence between the nomadic people and nature. The country's culture, history and customs, and the harmonious development of economy, culture and tourism in Bishkek are introduced by Movies, posters, slides, exhibits and cultural activities in the pavilion. Though highly industrial, Bishkek is a liveable city with large green area.
