According to the Sun report on Tuesday, the world’s longest dam was built by Canadian beavers this can be seen from space. Below you can view the world’s largest Beaver Dam photo from space.

Beaver dam is situated on the southern edge of Wood Buffalo National Park in Northern Alberta, central Canada that was marked by experts monitoring the size and spread of beaver dams in North America.
The unbelievable woodland construction is a staggering 2,790 feet in length that is more than half a mile long. This Beaver Dam size is twice of Hoover Dam which is world’s largest Dam. Hoover Dam has 1,244 feet length which borders Arizona and Nevada in the U.S.
On October 2, 2007, the largest beaver dam observed with Google Earth which is located in Northern Alberta. It has existed at this spot more than 15 years. It can be observed on the 1990 LandSat 7 Pseudo Color Imagery Provided by NASA World Wind. But this dam did not exist, according to 1975 aerial photos.
The big-toothed furry critters make a type of moat by using trees, mud and stone. To create a protection against predators like coyotes, wolves and bears, they can use their swimming skills at this place. So they can save them through this Dam. Beavers Dam building is very helpful in reinstating wetlands such as flood control downstream, biodiversity (by providing habitat for many rare as well as common species), and water cleansing, both by the breakdown of toxins like pesticides and the preservation of mud.
Sharon Brown, a biologist from Beavers: Wetland and Wildlife, an educational organization in north America, said: "Beavers build dams to create a good habitat. They create a habitat with lots of water like a moat around their lodges so they can swim and drive, and keep one step ahead of predators such as coyotes and bears." "This dam is particularly big."
It is thought that some beaver families connected forces to make the huge dam with thousands of trees and would have taken many months to complete.
Beaver's families live in lodges on the dams. They pass their days adding to and repairing the implausible constructions. They always work in night. They are prolific builders carrying mud and stones with their fore-paws and timber between their teeth. Beavers can rebuild primary dams overnight, although they may not protect secondary dams as animatedly.
The beaver is a primarily nocturnal, large, semi-aquatic rodent. Beavers are well-known for building large dams, canals, and lodges (homes). Satellite descriptions discovered this large dam in 2007 at Northern Alberta which was approximately 2,790 ft (850 m) long. This Beavers Dam is hitting the previous record holder found near Three Forks, Montana, at 2,140 ft (650 m) long, 14 ft (4.3 m) high, and 23 ft (7.0 m) thick.
